Riley is an AI receptionist that answers phone calls for small businesses. This page explains what information Riley handles and why. Questions: delivery@firstbearing.org.
Business owners (our customers)
- What you give us: your name, business name, email, business phone, your cell, and optional details like hours, services and service area.
- Payment: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Why: to set up and run your Riley line, bill you, send you call summaries and alerts, and support you.
People who call a business that uses Riley
- What Riley handles: the caller's phone number, what they say on the call, and the details they share (for example name, address and what they need). Calls and voicemails Riley answers may be recorded and transcribed.
- Why: to pass the message to the business, flag urgent calls, take appointment and callback requests, and improve how Riley answers for that business.
- The business that uses Riley decides what happens with its callers' information. Callers can contact that business directly.
Who helps us run Riley
We use service providers to run Riley, including Twilio (phone calls and numbers), ElevenLabs and other AI providers (voice and conversation), Google Cloud and Firebase (hosting and data), Stripe (payments), and our email provider. If a business connects Google Calendar, approved appointments are added to that calendar. We don't sell personal information.
Your choices
Business owners can cancel anytime and ask us to delete their data. Anyone can ask what information we hold about them or ask us to delete it by emailing delivery@firstbearing.org.
